People-Tracking Drones and the Portland Police Bureau

on

On Monday, January 27th, we co-hosted a drone-related event with Portland’s Techno-Activism 3rd Mondays, featuring Portland Investigative Journalist and Researcher Kate Kaye, of RedTail Media. Kate is also Deputy Director of World Privacy Forum.

At the meeting, Kate shared a brief history of drones in Portland along with the findings of her research into how, and how often, the Portland Police Bureau uses drones.
